Shimotsuke's new model "Tenkara Gen 2" is now on sale. these short tenkara rods are for small stream or bushy genryu stream. Tenkara Gen rods were very popular among quite a few of tenkara anglers. Tenkara Gen 2 has same line-up of 2.4m, 2.7m and 3.0m. Folded length is only 47cm. Great rod as pack rod. Thinking of its reasonable prices, Tenkara Gen 2 rods have great cost performance and high quality. Rod action is about 7:3. Best match line for this rod taper line, but you can also use level lines.
