Shimano's new model "Honryu Tenkara 44 NP" is the main-stream Tenkara rod that is supervised by Dr. Hisao Ishigaki, who is the pioneer of the level line Tenkara fishing. This is the long Tenkara rod that you can cast the long level line lightly.

The rod is slender, light weight and stlong against the wind by adopting non-zoom system and 5 section constitution. "Spiral X" structure rod blanks offer very accrate casting and stable landing. Though it is the long rod, you can cast for a long time effortlessly. Toughness of the rod, which is hidden in supple action, parries the dash of large trout.
